Polestar dance podiums offer the ideal solution for venues that cannot allocate the necessary space for a pole dance platform on a permanent basis. They are also ideally suited to venues with high ceilings, or where poles cannot be fixed to the ceiling, which is often the case with dance and keep fit studios.

Quick and simple to install without tools, our dance podiums combine an aluminium base frame with a heavy duty polished stainless steel pole to provide a strong and rigid unit that is suitable to be used for a full range of dance moves and routines limited only by the dancers ability.

Podiums are available with fixed one piece bases or with demountable bases for additional ease of transportation and storage.

Normally podiums are used as freestanding units with weights or kentledge located within the base to stabilise the unit avoiding the need for any ceiling fixing at the top of the pole.

The podium base is a one-piece construction with a lightweight aluminium welded frame, and is supplied as standard, with a 3m long 51mm diameter (10ft long 2” diameter) heavy duty polished stainless steel dance pole.

Whilst the top of the pole can be attached to a suitable ceiling using an optional coupler fitting, dance podiums are normally used freestanding with weights or kentledge fitted within the base to maintain the stability*.

Quick and easy to install without the need for tools, simply fit the dance pole to the base, stand the unit in position, locate weights or kentledge inside the base and fit the valance to the sides to dress the unit.

The unit is strong and rigid enough to allow a full range of dance routines, moves and tricks limited only by your ability.

Standard Polestar dance podiums are 1.22m (4ft) square at a height of 0.4m (16”) and can where required be integrated with our stage equipment to produce larger performance areas or performance areas with multiple poles.

Assembly takes about 5 minutes. First assemble the base by fitting the legs between the lower and upper base frames. Then fit the dance pole to the base and stand the unit in position, locate weights or kentledge inside the base and fit the valance to the sides to dress the unit.
