Aliscaff have manufactured a full range of aluminium scaffold towers since 1975, and have held a BSI Kitemark licence since 1982. Standard towers currently comply with BS EN 1004 and quality systems assessed to BS EN ISO 9001:2000. Designed to endure the demands of both the Hire and Construction Industries, many of the tower features such as the hook and adjustable leg operation are considered to be "the best on the market ".
In addition to a wide range of scaffold tower sizes,
a complete range of ancillary equipment is available
including bridge beams, walk through frames,
high clearance brace frames and guardrail posts.
These combined with Aliscaff's unrivalled technical
support allow complex and difficult applications
to be implemented, from cantilever applications
to bridges over swimming pools.
As a PASMA manufacturing member and training
centre Aliscaff offers both the Standard
PASMA Training Course on the use of Aluminium
Scaffold Towers as well as the Advanced
Courses that include towers with walk through
base sections, chimney scaffolds, towers with
cantilevers and bridging applications.
Span Tower Range
- Standard towers are single 0.7m (2ft) and double width 1.3m (4ft). Also available Quad width 2.5m (8ft).
- Standard platform lengths of 1.9m, 2.5m & 3m (6ft, 8ft & 10ft). Also available 1.3m (4ft) platform length.
- Rungs at 250mm (10") centres with anti-slip top surface.
- Location rivets on rungs to assist correct erection.
- All welded construction.
- Standard towers certified to BS EN 1004.
Stairladder Tower
- Available in double width 1.3m (4ft) with a 1.9m (6ft) platform length.
- Access to platform level via stairladders at 45°.
- Location rivets on rungs to assist correct erection.
- All welded construction.
- Stairladders act as bracing members.
- Complies with BS EN 1004.
Both scaffold towers are assembled using the HSE/PASMA approved “3T” (Through the Trap) method whereby the operator never stands on a platform that is not fully guarded in accordance with the Work at Height Regulations 2005.
